John Lee Dragon Wakizashi
Still today the dragon loom large in Japan especially during New Year celebration. Against Western mysticism, the dragon is an auspicious mythical creature in Japan. The tsuba of this remarkable sword sculpts a sword surrounding dragon. The other decorations also show the mystical creature.
The sword blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style has a groove (Bo-Hi), and is hand forged from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is sharpened with integrated Hamon line for a very authentic look. The handle wrapping is made of black cotton in a classic Hineri Maki style. Black, high gloss lacquered sheath (Kuroro style) made of wood. Due to the long tang, which is fixed in the handle with two bamboo pins (Mekugi), the sword is fully demountable. There is no plastic used, only high-quality, authentic materials are used.
The blade clamp (Habaki) and the washers (Seppa) are made of brass. The traditional handle wrapping is lined with authentic ray skin. All decorations (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made of metal. Supplied with protective fabric cover in a nice collector's box. Each original John Lee sword features a seal and a certificate.
