Its legendary quality made it the epitome of an entire knife genre during World War 2. Even today, almost 70 years later, the most famous combat knife in the world is widely used in the troops. The blade, hardened to approx. 57° Rockwell and black coated, is made of 1095 carbon steel (not stainless) and has a partial saw serration. The handle is made of pressed leather discs. Each knife comes with a high quality processed leather sheath.
