John Lee Imori Katana

Imori stands for alpine newt in Japanese. The hand forged blade without fuller (Bo-Hi) is made of 1045 carbon steel (which is not stainless), the blade collar is brass. The fittings are black, decorated with the golden newt. Grip-wrap is Katate Maki-Style (War-wrap) made of blue cotton, under which real ray skin is underlayed. Two dowels (Mekugi) fix the blade in the grip. The sword comes with a certificate of origin, wrapped in cloth and packed in a high-quality wooden box. All measures are subject to estimation.
