Forged traces and a finely decorated back emphasize the simple but noble design. The hand-forged blade is differentiated hardened. The cutting edge has a hardness of approx. 60° Rockwell, the back a hardness of approx. 44°. The handle consists of a piece of horn, which was elaborately bent and shaped.
