The claymore (Scottish Gaelic claidheamh mòr) is a type of sword common in Scotland that has been in use since the early 15th century.
The Claymore, also Claidhem-More, Claidhmhichean-mora, Glaymore, Scottish two-handed sword, Scottish long sword, was in use until about the 17th century.
This Scottish two handed claymore has a tempered blade. The handle parts have a bronze finish.
